Job Profile
Our client is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join a well-established Architectural Practice based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, which specialise in the creative re-use of building as well as a focus on Sustainability. The Successful Architectural Technologist will be part of a team working within the education & residential sectors, so experience working in either sector would be advantageous, however not essential. Our client are receptive in their search, as they are open to Architectural Technologists of all levels.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Architectural Technologist to join a growing team that offers progression opportunities to all. It would be advantageous for the successful Architectural Technologist to have good knowledge of Revit, however excellent training can be offered for those who have not used the software.
Architectural Technologist Position Overview
- Keep within budgetary requirements
- Prepare all statutory approval reports and applications
- Produce technical details
- Complete site visits
- Work on projects within the education and residential sectors
- Develop designs into working drawings
- Coordinate tender and construction design packages
- Submission of planning / building regs
- Work on projects throughout all RIBA stages
Architectural Technologist Position Requirements
- Based within a commutable distance of Newcastle Upon Tyne
- Good knowledge of Revit (advantageous)
- Prior experience within the education or residential sector advantageous
- Motivated individual
- Progressive person
- Ability to work well as part of a design / technical team
Architectural Technologist Position Remuneration
- Competitive salary (£30,000 - £50,000 DOE)
