Our client, an architectural practice based in Gloucester, are seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join an expanding practice that have an excellent reputation. Revit experience and experience within either the commercial or education sectors are a must for this position. Our client are receptive in their search so Architectural Technologists' of all levels are encouraged.
Our client is an expert at designing and delivering projects and have gained an excellent reputation in the South-West region in particular. They are a design-led practice, with a reputation for delivering high-quality projects with high attention to detail. Projects vary from client to client including small to large scale extensions, refurbishments and conversions. Sectors that this practice operates within include Residential, Leisure, Commercial, Healthcare and Education, so candidates with varied backgrounds are encouraged to apply. A few responsibilities include creating detailed drawings, working drawings and produce planning applications for several projects as well as producing 3D technical drawings and liaising with clients.
Architectural Technologist Position Overview
- Assist other members of staff
- Work on a range of projects in a variety of sectors
- Attend site visits when required
- Produce high quality technical drawings
- Run projects from Inception through to completion
- Preparing & managing detailed design and production information
- Assisting the design team/technical team
- Practical use of Revit
- Proven experience working on technical packages in the commercial or education sectors
Architectural Technologist Position Requirements
- 2 years+ experience working within a practice/consultancy
- Live within a commutable distance of Gloucester
- Revit knowledge & experience
- Examples of completed house and apartment technical packs
- Proven experience working on technical packages for residential projects or varied background within a variety of sectors
- Excellent technical ability / knowledge of building regulations
- Hard working and motivated individual
- Ability to work well within a team
Architectural Technologist Position Remuneration
- Competitive salary (£30,000 - £45,000 DOE)
