Construction Manager Required for our client to join their specialist Civil Engineering contracting business. The company that the Construction Manager will be working for are a well-established Civil Engineering contractor, whom work on projects from conception through construction to project delivery. The companies' specialities span across a variety of different sectors including water and waste water, infrastructure and coastal protection. The Construction Manager will be working on a prestigious project on a new Reservoir in Hampshire.
Construction Manager Position Remuneration
- Salary - Dependant on experience

Construction Manager Position Overview
- Working for a Contractor on large construction projects
- Design and build projects within the Water industry would be highly advantageous
- Build and maintain a motivated project/site teams,
- Review the buildability of designs as they are developed from concept, through outline, to detailed design
- Develop and review construction methodologies
- Liaise with site management team
- Support commercial team to prepare enquires and procure subcontract packages
- Lead integration of Civils and Earthworks scopes
- Support other members of the project team
- Ensure all HSE legislation and rules are followed
- Ensure site operations comply with environmental legislation
- Assist in the production of monthly progress reports for client
- Identity Early Warnings
Construction Manager Position Requirements
- Water and Civils and Earthworks experience
- Good commercial awareness with effective influencing and negotiating skills,
- Degree or HND in Civil Engineering
- Experience in Design & Build Contracts
- Understanding and experience in NEC4 Contracts
- Knowledge of current civil engineering legislation as well as Health & Safety and Environmental legislation
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Joint venture experience would be beneficial
